POTTSTOWN PA – A series of six sessions in what is described by organizers as a “practical and entertaining” free program that trains parents to be more confident, have more fun, and feel more relaxed in their family roles is scheduled for consecutive Wednesdays beginning April 11 (2012) from 6:30-8 p.m. at Rupert Elementary School, 1230 South St., Pottstown.
Family Services of Montgomery County, which operates from offices in Sanatoga, is offering the nationally known “Becoming a Love & Logic Parent” program, which promotes parental control and teaches kids to be respectful and responsible. It is called a “common-sense approach that helps to resolve annoying behaviors, as well as serious behavioral problems in children of all ages.”
Advance registration is required. For more information or to register, call Whitney Leone at 610-326-1610, Ext. 233. Free child care will be available.
