KNAUERTOWN PA – What you can hear later this month, when you listen closely, is being described by naturalists as a “Sac Full O’ Sound.”
Frogs and toads produce distinctive sounds and a variety of calls. They’re thriving at this time of year; learn why and how they call so much now during a program scheduled for March 25 (2012; Sunday) from 5-6:30 p.m. in Warwick County Park, Pavilion 2, 191 County Park Rd., Knauertown PA, just south of Pottstown and 3-1/2 miles west of the intersection of Routes 100 and 23.
- This event has been added to The Post calendar.
Park staffers Glenn Nelson and Jay Erb will lead visitors into the amphibians’ wet hiding places to follow the calls; tromping boots or shoes are recommended footwear.
Advance registration is requested. Download a registration form, here, or call the park at 610-469-1916.
