POTTSTOWN PA – A dental sealant clinic for children, conducted by the Montgomery County Community College dental hygiene program with financial support from two area foundations, will be held March 31 (2012; Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Community Health and Dental Care, 11 Robinson St., Pottstown.

A dental sealant is a clear, preventive coating placed on permanent back teeth to prevent dental decay. During the program, preventive services will be performed by licensed dental hygienists in consultation with licensed dentists. Support services will be provided by dental hygiene students from the college.
The clinics have received funding from the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation, and the North Penn Community Health Foundation.
A similar clinic also is scheduled for March 29 (Thursday) from 5-8:30 p.m. at the college Science Center room 221, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell PA. For information and appointments there, call 215-641-6483.
