REVVING IT UP AT THE MALL – A fourth annual show of race cars and other racing-related vehicles (above) runs today (Friday, March 2, 2012) through Sunday (March 4) during regular business hours at Coventry Mall, Routes 100 and 724, in North Coventry (PA) Township. Pottstown area resident and motocross racing champion Tammy Auman, who also is a reporter for the “Garage Talk Live” auto racing program on WNJC-AM, said the mall show Saturday will feature a “Racer’s Round Table” beauty pageant with three age categories, and also an awards presentation of best in show for the cars on display.
The No. 69 car will be familiar to fans of Pottstown native Greg Hoffmaster.
Grandview Speedway’s 2011 Latemodel Champion and Pottstown native Chuck Schutz is represented at the show by his No. 1 car.
Grandview’s 50th anniversary, celebrated this year, is acknowledged by its car sponsorship.
