POTTSTOWN PA – Students and faculty members at the Pottstown School District’s Barth Elementary School would love to have you be Friendly with them … for a few hours, at least, and then to help raise money for classroom technology equipment.
The Friendly’s Restaurant at the corner of Shoemaker Road and Route 100 in Pottstown will host the fund-raiser Feb. 15 (2012; Wednesday) from 4-9 p.m. The company is donating 10 percent of all sales generated during 4-hour period to Barth for its equipment needs. Both eat-in and take-out meals qualify, district spokesman John Armato said.

There’s an extra benefit, too: Barth staff members will greet customers at the door.
