POTTSTOWN PA – An Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) seminar featuring guest speaker Michele Peterson, an occupational therapist with Pediatric Therapy and Feeding Services of Berks County, is scheduled for Feb. 2 (2012; Thursday) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the borough branch of the Freedom Valley YMCA, 724 N. Adams St., Pottstown PA.

The program is intended for parents or caregivers of a child with ASD. The event is free, but registration is requested by Jan. 30; for more information or to register, call Lynn Seponski at the Y, 610-323-7300, Ext. 13.
The Y conducts twice monthly meetings of an ASD Support Group, on the first and third Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m., also at no cost. Participants share information, get help with navigating resources, listen to guest speakers, and receive support.
