POTTSTOWN PA – As you walk down the aisles of the grocery store this week, the folks at the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities‘ outreach center, 57 N. Franklin St., Pottstown PA, hope you’ll pick up just one more.
One more can of tuna. One more box of oatmeal. Another bottle of juice.
The cluster, which operates a food pantry to help struggling area families make ends meet on the dinner table, said Monday (Jan. 9, 2012) at its Facebook page that it was “in great need of food items” as donations. It’s particularly interested in tuna, canned meat, oatmeal, juice, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned pasta, spaghetti sauce, and soup.
“Your time and attention to the needs of your neighbors in Pottstown are always appreciated!,” the cluster noted in its Facebook post. Items can be dropped off at the outreach center during its regular business hours.
