POTTSTOWN PA – For some of those ready to submerge their bodies Sunday (Jan. 1, 2012) into Pottstown’s portion of the frigid Schuylkill River, even a lack of dress demanded headdress.
As they seem to do every year, a handful of swimmers at the borough’s Polar Bear Plunge in Riverfront Park made it a point to stand out in the crowd of occasionally bare-chested, bare-legged or bare-armed bathers. Their headgear (above and below) did the trick.
