Sure, It’s Cold Now, But Spring’s Not Far Away

AWAITING ITS NEWEST OCCUPANTS – A birdhouse, hand-painted in shades of green and brown that match its surroundings, swayed gently in the breeze as it hung Saturday (Dec. 24, 2011) from a tree at Pottstown’s Riverfront Park off College Drive. The abode was empty, but looked ready to accommodate new inhabitants when winter’s gone and spring rolls around in only a few months.

Wow.. Vacationing in South America the residents will no doubt love the waterside abode and it’s cornucopia of insects this coming spring and summer. Nice to see people giving our feathered citizens hope for the future.
