A view inside the new Frogtowne Artisan Creations in Knauertown
KNAUERTOWN PA – Frogtowne Artisan Creations, a retail art gallery at 1900 Ridge Rd. (Route 23), Pottstown PA, near St. Peter’s Village, recently opened under the ownership of founders Tom Galloway and Colin Macy. They intend it to serve as an outlet for finely crafted functional and non-functional art, Macy said Thursday (Dec. 1, 2011).
Both are artists themselves, Macy noted. They’re “extremely proud and grateful to have the opportunity to channel such a diverse collection of finely crafted art to a place where the public may enjoy or even own the work,” he added.
The gallery currently features woodwork, pottery, paintings, photography, prints, stained glass, books and post cards, and textiles. Jewelry will be added soon, according to Macy. The works of 20 area artists are currently on display, and the pair is dedicated to supporting local talents, he said.
Operating hours are Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 484-985-9835, or send an e-mail here.

The gallery is located at 1900 Ridge Rd. (Route 23), just west of Route 100.
