POTTSTOWN PA – Dick’s Sporting Goods, the full-line sports equipment and clothing retailer that operates a store in the Coventry Mall, Routes 100 and 724, Pottstown PA, on Friday (Nov. 11, 2011) will conduct a grand opening for its newest location at Crystal Coast Plaza in Morehead City NC, the company announced Tuesday (Nov. 8).
The Morehead City site will be the retailer’s 25th store in North Carolina, and its 480th nationwide. The company also owns and operates 81 Golf Galaxy stores, a golf specialty retailer, in 30 states; and e-commerce web sites and catalog operations for both Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy.
Dick’s has a variety of special athlete appearances and give-a-ways scheduled in Morehead City to celebrate the event. Expected are special appearances by former Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard, professional angler Chris Elliott, Addictive Fishing host Blair Wiggins, and local fishing guides Jeff Cronk and Mike Taylor.
