POTTSTOWN PA – The Rev. Kerry Pidcock-Lester, co-pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Pottstown since June 1994, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation, it said Wednesday (Nov. 2, 2011).
The foundation intends to enhance the health and wellness of area residents by providing education, funding and programs that motivate people to adopt healthy lifestyles.
Pidcock-Lester “brings specific talents to our board,” said foundation Executive Director David Kraybill. “Her leadership and communication skills … insightfulness and community involvement are key qualities.” She also will serve on the board’s grants and program and nominating committees, he said.
A graduate of Duke University, Pidcock-Lester received her master of divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond VA. She serves on several other community not-for-profit boards.
