NORTH COVENTRY PA – Local fire companies and the people who admire them and their work met up Thursday (Oct. 13, 2011) at Glocker Way off the east side of Route 100 in North Coventry, as all gathered to observe October as National Fire Prevention Month.

Visitors had an opportunity to inspect the Chester County Mobile Command Center, an ambulance, and several fire company trucks. In addition, a demonstration smoke house gave guests a chance to experience crawling through the smoke in a house and emerge safely.
