POTTSTOWN PA – Time has been added to the count-down clock for parents who want to enroll their children in summer arts classes scheduled in Pottstown.
Two fun and free classes for children ages 8-12, sponsored by the Greater Pottstown Foundation, are being offered this summer at The Gallery School of Pottstown, 254 High St., Pottstown PA. The enrollment deadline, which would have expired last week, has been extended until June 10 (Friday; 2011), according to the Pottstown Arts and Cultural Alliance blog.
- This event has been added to The Post calendar.
The foundation is supporting the Kids Art Academy, an arts enrichment class in which students will create work in many media; as well as Clay Academy, a pottery class in which students will work on hand-building and using a pottery wheel.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and a limited number of spaces are available. Preference is given to children who qualify for free or reduced lunch programs, but other applicants will be accepted for open spaces. For more information, send an e-mail here, or call 610-326-2506.
